On Tuesday afternoon, President Joe Biden issued executive orders significantly changing immigration policies set under the Trump administration.
McAllen Mayor Jim Darling on Tuesday told Border Report that city officials met with U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials, who told them last week that family units — undocumented migrants traveling with children who cross into South Texas — are now being paroled into the United States as they await their asylum proceedings... however many years that may take...
Darling and others who help migrants in South Texas say they expect to see many more migrants in need of assistance very soon, and there are concerns that not all are being tested for COVID-19 before they travel elsewhere in the United States.
Darling said that adult migrants traveling with children who were apprehended illegally crossing the Rio Grande into South Texas were being released by U.S. Border Patrol agents at the bus station in downtown McAllen. After release, city officials are immediately taking the migrants across the street to the Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley’s Humanitarian Respite Centers...
“We also have reached out to Greyhound and are working to get more buses because we expect a jump in numbers.”...
Darling says, based on his meeting with CBP officials last week, they soon expect an uptick in migrants to flood the center, which in the summer of 2019 regularly helped over 1,000 migrants per day...
Further east... in Brownsville... volunteers with the organization Team Brownsville are donating backpacks with food and clothing to officials at the downtown Brownsville bus station to help the migrants with their travels... they expect an influx any day now.

The old Obama-era logistics support structures are leaping back into action, and the flow has already begun through South Texas.

The holding camps on the Mexican side have been notorious hotbeds for COVID-19 spread.
Mexico is hesitant to restart caravans through there Country because of the risk of COVID-19 - but they will be happy to empty the camps near the US border. They will likely accept payoffs to allow lots of smaller groups (like busloads) to pass through the country soon.

“Border Report has learned that sometime before Jan. 28, CBP officials began releasing some migrants who illegally entered South Texas near the cities of McAllen and Brownsville if they met certain conditions. This included migrants traveling with children or with special circumstances, such as pregnant women... DHS officials last week began paroling some migrants into the interior and they began showing up at the bus stations in McAllen and Brownsville...
The releases of migrant families appear to not be happening elsewhere on the border in places like San Diego or El Paso where current cross-border travel restrictions appear to remain in place under the Title 42 rule to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
But I just heard a small portion on the radio earlier, that getting a Rona vax and you will get a stimulus payment.......WTH?
Will illegals Biden’s is letting in also get money if they get a vax......and promise to vote Commie?
