He's suddenly setting a very low bar, whereas before the election he billed himself as Superman, the man who would defeat Covid-19 and bring back a roaring economy within months.

Not just failure - deliberate destruction. Which also explains the razor wire fencing and National Guard troops in D.C. Apparently they intend to ride out the four years in their self-made security bubble. Well, lotsa luck.
