Multiple Republicans came to the defense of Georgia Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene after the Democrat-led House of Representatives voted Thursday to strip of her two committee seats for past statements she has made.
Greene took to the House floor before the vote to say she does not currently hold the kinds of conspiratorial views that got her in trouble in the first place and never made any statements about the conspiracy theory QAnon during the 2020 campaign.
Still, the House voted 230-199, with only 11 Republicans joining Democrats in what was otherwise a party-line vote to remove Greene from the committees responsible for education and the budget.

Until I can speak face to face with Greene, she is presumed Innocent, has the Right To Free Speech, and can punch any Democrat, Liberal or "Journalist" right in the face if she so chooses.
Add RINOs, GOPe, Republican Traitors, Never Trumpers and Swampers to that list!
ALL Bush League Republicans need to be replaced.
Who were those 11 Repubilcans?
At least this nonsense has clearly identified about 12 GOP Congressmen and 5 GOP Senators who will require carefully planned, well financed primary challenges if the GOP is to be properly purged and cleansed as a political vehicle suitable for decent, rational people, Any elected official that votes with Pelosior Schumer can never be trusted.
Bring up Impeaching Joe and you’ll get the same thing , D’oh
Let me guess: The 11 Republicans are more or less the same group of RINOs that voted for impeachment.
Do not read this as any unity in the GOP. A 2 to 1 majority voted to keep Liz Cheney in her leadership position. The GOP is worthless.
Glad you asked, YOU are officially designated -Researcher For Today-, find 'em and post a list here.
I concur.
they were posted in a previous thread
The GOP defectors were Reps. Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, Chris Jacobs of New York, Carlos A. Giménez of Florida, John Katko of New York, Young Kim of California, Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, Nicole Malliotakis of New York, Maria Elvira Salazar of Florida, Fred Upton of Michigan, Mario Díaz-Balart of Florida and Chris Smith of New Jersey.
A couple of them are new members of Congress. Three of them freshmen woman. I’m ashamed I contributed to their campaigns and won’t make that mistake again....ever.
Thanks for the research, NewsSmacks was pretty good with this article, but could have listed the 11 Republicans after mentioning them.
The hypocrisy among the left who wants to remove her is astounded. We are routinely treated to leftist whackos making up stories that fit a narrative (here’s looking at AOC) and who are incapable of uttering an intelligent statement, who spout off with the most insane rants ever (Barbara Lee), but they remain in office and are rewarded with committee chairmanships and so forth.
Well, as they say, if it weren’t for double standards, the left would have no standards at all.
I recommend immediately appointing MTG to EVERY OTHER committee! Literally EVERY OTHER COMMITTEE! Alternatively she should be appointed by members of committees as an alternate with proxy power to vote.
You’re right that there is overlap among the RINO skanks.
1)The 11 House Republicans who think they know better than the people in Congresswoman @mtgreenee’s district.
Kinzinger (IL)
Fitzpatrick (PA)
Malliotakis (NY)
Katko (NY)
Upton (MI)
Gimenez (FL)
Jacobs (NY)
Kim (CA)
Salazar (FL)
Smith (NJ)
Diaz Balart (FL)
Primary them all.
2)10 Republicans voting to impeach:
Rep. Dan Newhouse (WA)
Rep. John Katko (NY)
Rep. Jamie Herrera Beutler (WA)
Rep. Adam Kinzinger (IL)
Rep. Fred Upton (MI)
Rep. Liz Cheney (WY)
Rep. Peter Meijer (MI)
Rep. Anthony Gonzalez (OH)
Rep. Tom Rice (SC)
Rep. David Valadao (CA)
Constitutionally suspect. With this precedent, what’s to stop a dominant party from banning committee work by all members of opposition parties — for any reason it sees fit?
What prevents McCarthy from reassigning Greene to two other committees?
I will do that! Would you please research vote list on the Cheny leadership vote?
