as young parents, our mortgage interest rates hovered around 11%...
typical of my age group to miss out on the big money for raising children plus low interest rates.....
enough is enough....its good to encourage children, but we're going off the deep end now....

It would give people a vested interest in keeping the monetary system under control. The reason we have inflation is be wise neither voters or politicians have any long term interest in controlling it.

First when has any jobs prediction that far out been correct?
Second future predictions also suffer from not predicting new technologies requiring new types of jobs not thought of in those predictions.
Universal Basic Income isn’t a solution in itself. Just printing money out of nothing for people isn’t going to solve their problems and its not a fiscal solution either. No one signs the praises of fiat money we have right now. When that is implemented that’s the new zero. Prices on everything will adjust upward to compensate. If so many will be not working or hardly so, how will our debt ever be paid back? Many question how our current debt will ve paid back, ever?
If our current system is kicking the can down the road, ubi is putting the can in a mortar and launching it downrange.
