Agree!!! For long time, GOP has had no courage! Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that no matter how many times GOP caters to Dems, Dems will step on them and do what they want! Sickening!

I watched the vote. All Republicans voted nay and all Democrats vote aye with a couple Democrats and one Republican not voting.

Also from the article near the bottom. “Ultimately, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy decided against removing Greene from her committee assignments.”

But remember folks, it’s essential we remain in the Republican Party! /sarc

This was a House vote, not a GOP caucus vote.

This was the first time ever the majority party has stripped a minority party member of their committees. According to the Republicans this will blow up in their face when they assume the majority. We’ll see, I’m guessing they will do nothing.

"The GOP is truly clueless. They think people would ever vote for them again..."

I'm now registered as "no party," and won't ever vote for a Republican again. Living in New York State, I can't vote in primaries unless I'm registered as a Democrat or Republican. And, I still don't have a Congressional rep because District NY-22 is being fought out in court. I haven't heard one thing about the GOP helping Claudia Tenney through any of this, but there have been reports of Congressional Democrats sending observers to the court proceedings.

From a Twitter post I found on patriots.win (formerly thedonald.win), Perkins-Coie is representing Democrat Brindisi. Here is the link to the Twitter post at patriots.win:

Twitter post re: NY-22nd Congressional District

He highlights Perkins-Coie claiming that the tabulation machines undercounted hundreds if not thousands of votes, and that those machine errors disproportionately affected Brindisi.

Now Brindisi is asking that Tenney who has about a 123 vote lead, not be seated while his appeal is ongoing.

"We’ve failed to significantly reform the GOP before.
But we’ve never before had a force like Trump to use against it. So I have new hope."

Then who the hell is the man who has been president for 4 years?

We had Donald Trump win the Republican primary in 2016 to become he's of the Republican Party and he went on to win the presidency and serve as POTUS for 4 years and that did not reform the GOP. In Fact the GOP went on to participate in the 4 year coup and steal the election from Trump via fraud.

The GOP as a political party needs to die, nothing can reform it.

That’s fine...your frustration I’m not arguing with one way or the other.

But one post after another commenting like this a caucus vote of the GOP when Pelosi and the Democrats are the ones who set up this vote, not the GOP, is just nonsensical.

The Republicans will be lucky to win 100 seats in 2022. Each day they offend more of their base

I'll still be voting republican. Republicans have the house within easy reach, and perhaps the senate too.

There is no way that I'll just give up and allow democrats to finish destroying the country, no matter how bad I feel about republicans at the moment.

Yep...Badge of Honor to Marjorie Taylor Greene! I believe they are coming after her because she submitted Articles of Impeachment against Biden. Its funny. I have heard these geniuses of politics claim that they haven’t heard of MTG before this issue to take away her committees. Really? You didnt see her at Trump’s rally in GA? You didn’t read about her as a new Trump supporting freshman House Rep?

I think it is a good idea she is off the committees. I wish the GOP did it instead of the vote on the House floor. Some of the comments she has made are just plain crazy and she is going to be a problem just like the former congressman from Iowa.

I think Maxine and a number of radicals on the far left should also be removed as well. There is no place for them as well.

I will never donate one dollar to the RNC since some of it will go to help re-elect these RINOS.
