Fusion reactors will blow all other forms of electricity production away. I think the Chinese are way ahead of the rest of the world in that respect until if it pans out.

Uh, no! Look at the design for any fusion reactor and a knowledgeable person's first question is, "tell me what was wrong with fission reactors, again?" And don't say waste because there are two problems with fusion. First the 14MeV neutrons make lots of activation products - e.g. waste. And second the only way to make the tritium you need for fusion is with a fission reactor.
Oh, and problem three. It doesn't actually work except in nuclear bombs.
