Some people here think US military technology is behind the curve.
Laughable.

It comes with the word play on Zalman, i.e. Solomon

My skepticism comes from the experience that this technology would typically be demonstrated on a larger scale, (on-land), and then scaled down to fit on a carrier.
Why wouldn't this be used for commercial power on a larger scale?
I mean, besides all of the anti-nuke idiots out there...."Akkkkk! It's a BOMB!!!!!

indeed, I’ve seen things developed 30 years ago that is still not public as technological use in the public sector today..

an engine that works using “inertial mass reduction,”,
Reminds me of Q's suggested method of preventing a moon from crashing into a planet. It was simple: just change the gravitational constant of the universe.

I read The War Zone article when it published a few weeks ago. The physics and math aspect is way above me to understand. Lol. My understanding kind of stops at the step where I believe Einstein was really a space alien as his General Theory is the root from which the patented devices sprout from.
A week or two after the original War Zone article, they published a follow up article with a FOIA response from the Navy to effect that the patent applications were legitimate, the inventor person was an employee and IIRC is still an employee. The gentleman seems to float from agency to program within Naval R&D.

IIRC, Joann Fabrics sells the fabric of reality for $15.99 a yard.

Question is, has China already ripped this tech off? If not, they'll have it before the end of the year.
