It had a large wrap around porch, a wood burning stove in the kitchen, lots of stained glass windows, hardwood floors etc. He tore all that out.
That should have been criminal! LOL! Ok, the wood burning stove taken out, not so bad. But the rest .... egads!
When I was young, I wanted to live in an old house like that. Had a friend who did and loved visiting her.
I went to the Catholic school in my little hometown in the late '50s and early '60s and well remember the nuns in the "penguin" suits. It was such a shock when we first saw the nuns walking around town in the new, more modern habits.
That school closed it's doors just a few years ago. A shame because it was a good school.
I miss those days in many ways.
