Possibly, but hasn't De Vos been replaced by now? Doesn't matter, the Department of Education has no authority over city and Teacher Union disputes. It's entirely local.

BTW, above all cabinet positions that could be eliminated, the Department of Education is number one for me. Does anyone really know what it does other than provide Fedgov jobs? Like DMV jobs, most of them couldn't operate a hotdog stand. Pfft.
