I am worried about some friends who just got their first Moderna COVID vaccine dose. I hope they will not suffer any of the ill effects I’ve read about and that they will be effectively protected from COVID.
Same here....w/friends and a few (older) co-workers who’ve gotten it.
Time will tell.
Moderna’s vaccine has allergic reactions in about 1 out of every 1 million people who receive it. Any allergic reactions show up quickly and are easily counteracted. There have been people taking the Moderna vaccine since the Phase 1 trials began in April of last year, so nearly a year now.
Your friends are just fine. No need to worry.
