My four-camera video security system is set to save videos for 72 hours. The saved videos have been extremely useful on several occasions (day and night). Caught one prowler in the act and solved several minor mysteries (who rang doorbell while I was in the shower, who left the mystery gift at the front door, whose cat was causing problems, etc,).
36 But watch at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that will take place, and to stand before the Son of man.”
This link displays Luke 21:36 in several dozen variations. I think it bolsters the Rapture Doctrine. I would say its rather conclusive.

Seems rather conclusive to me that they don’t.
Thats because your using a catholic translation and catholics are taught not to believe in the rapture. If fact they are taught to believe whatever catholicism teaches rather then what the Bible says.
When I read the Bible I don’t see support for purgatory, the offices of pope or cardinal, transubstantiation, rosary beads, lent, praying and bowing to idols, infallibility of pope, paying indulgences to get into Heaven, etc...
I figured this was some version of “ἐκ” so I took a look. This is how a pastor friend of mine who has taught Greek at college sees it. Admittedly, he’s pre-trib like myself. IIRC, this is how Dr. Ed Hindson sees it. Not all will agree, of course. Oh well...

OTOH, those who are planning on going through the Tribulation, it will be a very rough time. I pray none of Church will go through it but there certainly WILL be Tribulation Saints. Revelation 20:4 makes that very clear (for the thread).

We know that Jesus came unto His own and His own received Him not. He came for the lost sheep of Israel. He also told His disciples not to take the message He delivered to them to the Gentile nations. He delivered a Kingdom message to the Jews.
So His message to the Jews concerning the Olivet Discorse contained what I believe to be whats known as duel prophetic fulfillment. Meaning it applied to the destruction of the Temple by the Romans in 70AD, as well as the times we are approaching.
In the Lords Wisdom, knowing He would be rejected and Crucified, He would choose Paul to deliver the Message of Grace and to reveal the Rapture Doctrine.
The disciples could barely even understand the message of His ressurection, let alone the Rapture.
What I am getting out of this, being the first time I noticed it, with you having brought these Scriptures to my attention, is that I have never really seen the Rapture message so clearly in the Gospels before.
Look at the timeline (with the understanding of prophetic duel fulfilment in mind)...in verses 29-33 refers to the fig tree blossoming. This refers primarily to the present age. Israel became a nation in 1948 and gained possesion of Jerusalem in 1967.
Then we advance to the Scriptures in question 34-38.
He warns the Jews in verse 34 not to be caught up in worldly ways so that the “Day” would not catch them unaware.
So what day?
Lets look at it in a current day prophetic timeline. Then see how these Scriptures coincide.
Verse 35 speaks of a coming great tribulation.
Then in verse 36 He advises to watch and pray (that you may be accounted worthy to “escape All these things”) that shall come to pass.
Key words, escape and All. This tells me if they watch and pray always that they can ESCAPE ALL these things. What things? Go back to verse 35.
Then, after all these things come to pass (the fullfilment of the 7 year tribulation period) the Lord will return and IF the hearers (even to the Jews where that message was yet hidden) will they then stand before Him when He returns.
And on that timeline verses 37 & 38 make mention of the Temple and Mount Olivet.
The tribulation period is referred to as a day of darkness. But at its conclusion there will be light. Look at verse 38,
And ALL the people (at the time of the coming millenium all nations will be required to visit New Jerusalem and the milleniel Temple.) ...came early in the morning to Him in the Temple, for to hear Him.
So the reference to escape and all could be a message to the 144,000 at mid trib. Or even, if we take the literal meaning of the words ESCAPE ALL THESE THINGS, this could be for those that receive the Message of Grace given to Paul.
And then would they no longer be Jew nor Gentile but one in Christ and tberfor be eligible for the catching away.
