IMHO, folks who have anything “Smart” in their home, excepting a Smart phone, are asking for problems due to lack of privacy.
The Telescreens in the 1984 novel are very similar to smart TVs.
You couldn’t pay me to have one of these devices. I’m sorry, but my refrigerator does NOT need to talk with my washing machine. Never had to in the past and never will in the future.
The ones who post most often are military wives. Lol

I bought a Ring floodlight cam last month. They’rre trying to get me to subscribe to their $3/month protection service.
Here’s what Ring sent me Sunday:

• No access to devices.
Public safety agencies are never given access to users’ cameras or devices through the Neighbors Public Safety Service or by Ring.
• No direct access to users when making video requests.
Your local public safety agencies can use Neighbors to request assistance in an investigation. Now, IMHO, this happens during the Great Tribulation. The last three and one-half years, starting when the Mark of the Beast becomes mandatory, in the middle of the 7-year “peace deal”. So I think this is written to Tribulation Saints (Revelation 20:4). IMHO, so YMMV. Therefore, Luke 21:34-36.

Thank you for posting Luke 21:34-36 in its entirety. I wanted to but was already late for the door having posted all that I did. I barely made it where I was going, with maybe 3-1/2 minutes to spare. Now that is done and I’m back.
