House GOP lawmakers are seeking this week to oust Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota from her committee assignments as Democrats push for similar action against embattled Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, Fox News has learned.
The House is set to consider a measure this week that calls for Taylor Greene, a controversial first-term lawmaker known for her support of the QAnon conspiracy theory, from her assignment on the Education and Labor Committee.
A proposed GOP-backed amendment to that measure calls for Omar, frequently identified as a member of the "Squad" of progressive Democrats, to be removed from her committee assignments "in light of conduct she has exhibited," Fox News congressional correspondent Chad Pergram reported. In the amendment, Republicans argue that Omar has made anti-Semitic comments that are grounds for dismissal.
Reps. Brian Babin (R-TX), Jeff Duncan (R-SC), Jody Hice (R-GA), Andy Biggs (R-AZ), and Ronny Jackson (R-TX) sponsored the proposed amendment.
Omar’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

For the record, anytime an article refers to "QAnon", they either at best are not understanding it, or at the worst, denigrating it, fearful of it's purpose succeeding, have a vested interest in it failing.
There is 'Q', a group of perhaps 8 or 12 individuals with the highest security clearances, and there are 'Anon's, anonymous or not-so anonymous people who follow 'Q's intelligence drops and report on them.

Let me pose a question that I posted yesterday for which there weren’t any responses....
So as I understand it, Marjorie Taylor Greene has said a few ‘outrageous things’....or at least, she reportedly has said some things that sound difficult agree with. However, I haven’t gone back to listen to any complete speeches she has made so I have a serious question for which there might be a bit of Freeper consensus.... Does she have a bit of a bit of a loony streak in her? Or is she just stirring the pot to get a reaction? Is she just having fun or kidding around with some of her statements? Or perhaps she is consistently being taken as badly out of context as PDJT was taken with ‘very fine people on both sides’ statement? Other potential explanations including the enemedia running with a narrative for their own purposes that bears no resemblance to reality at all.....
