That's a very good point.

The one big thing the titans of tech worry about is industry disruption from below by new tech start-ups with revolutionary products.

That's the vulnerable Big Tech Achilles' heel that the Ruling elite have apparently promised to protect (i.e., a promise of no trust busting).

On top of that, rumors abound that the Ruling Elite's intelligence community has wrapped its tentacles around Big Tech's data gathering features.

After watching Presidential elections for the past sixty years, I have come to the conclusion that the POWERS THAT BE, (Repubs an Dems), have decided that the Office of the Presidency is too important to be left up to decisions of THE GREAT UNWASHED of America.

So they have chosen ahead of time the next President, Republican or Democrat. The vote is just a formality.

However, in 2016, they chose Hillary. Already deemed the President, polls showed she was going to win, the magazines printed showing her the winner, no need to cheat.

Then the voters voted and TRUMP won. Too late for the Hillary backers to cheat.

Why else would so many of the Deep State do everything they can to get Trump out as fast as possible so the government can return to “business as usual.”

Nothing cynical about it at all. I believe this country was founded by a group of very admirable — but also pragmatic — people.

They went to great lengths to MINIMIZE democratic proceedings in an elected government. Did you know that 7 of the original 13 states didn’t even have a popular vote for their presidential electors in our early presidential elections? The legislatures of those states appointed their electors.
