A fleet of Gulfstreams and BBJs arrives carrying a bunch of rich sanctimonious jerks who helped preside over the destruction “up there”. How accommodating would you feel towards your new guests that arrive and quickly want a say?

I'm of the opinion that the real reason the NZ government (Jacinda Ardern, et al), is banning all kinds of firearms from their subjects is because the elites have put pressure on them. The global elites with their doomsday shelters in New Zealand do not want the local rubes to be able to cause any trouble if and when they have fly off to their bolt holes.
