The irony is that KKK as the armed wing of the Democrat Party and is the cultural foreshadowing of Antifa and BLM I was pretty young, but I can remember my Mom was furious with Gov. Faubus (D) in Arkansas for trying to prevent desegregation to the point that the NG had to be called up to escort the blacks into Central HS in Little Rock. She felt he had humiliated the whole state. Back then, late 50's and early 60's, demoncrats hated blacks. Still do, but now they need their votes.

Spike Lee has always lived in fantasyland. This happens to be real life. In real life, the Klan was a white supremacist outfit that wanted to do away with all blacks.
Not to mention The Klan was founded nurtured and encouraged by the Dems.
