The announcement comes just 90 minutes before Amazon reports what is expected to be a blowout holiday quarter earning report.
“As much as I still tap dance into the office, I’m excited about this transition,” Bezos said, adding that he will focus on “the Day 1 Fund, the Bezos Earth Fund, Blue Origin, The Washington Post, and my other passions.”

He and his wife followed that formula. They were married for about 77 years.
They were having sex in their mid 90's.

My late mother started me off with Mere Christianity when I was 20, on to Screwtape, the Great Divorce, eventually all of his books. I went through a rebellion stage but Screwtape really had an impact so in a way the devil led me back to God.
She joked that I might be ready for his children’s books in my 50’s!

Bezos isn’t “stepping down” he’s moving up to Executive Chairman of Amazon. This will free him up from day-to-day management of the company to taking over more of the world with new ventures.

I guess once you made your first $100 billion, you start to look for other worlds to conquer.
