No one can be, at the same time, a socialist and a Christian.
One is a system of pure materialism, and the other is a belief in eternalism and the Truth therein.

I’m not trying to be contrarian, but you’re not gonna convince many people of that today.
While I agree that pure, doctrinal communism is atheistic and materialistic, socialism (and even collectivist policies) are seen by very few people as inherently un-Christian.
Some nations even have a large Christian Socialist Party.
