In Georgia, Arizona and other states won by President Biden, some leading Republicans stood up in November to make what, in any other year, would be an unremarkable statement: The race is over. And we lost, fair and square.
But that was then. Now, in statehouses nationwide, Republicans who echoed former President Donald J. Trump’s baseless claims of rampant fraud are proposing to make it harder to vote next time — ostensibly to convince the very voters who believed them that elections can be trusted again. And even some colleagues who defended the legitimacy of the November vote are joining them.
According to the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University, state legislators have filed 106 bills to tighten election rules, generally making it harder to cast a ballot — triple the number at this time last year. In short, Republicans who for more than a decade have used wildly inflated allegations of voter fraud to justify making it harder to vote, are now doing so again, this time seizing on Mr. Trump’s thoroughly debunked charges of a stolen election to push back at Democratic-leaning voters who flocked to mail-in ballots last year.
In Georgia, where the State House of Representatives has set up a special committee on election integrity, legislators are pushing to roll back no-excuse absentee voting. Republicans in Pennsylvania plan 14 hearings to revisit complaints they raised last year about the election and to propose limitations on voting.

Without a uniform manner in the states to present an open and transparent accounting, verification, validation of all of the original physical ballots cast by U.S. citizens, the 2020 Presidential election is under protest, under constant investigation and must be addressed.
We Tax Payers paid for the ink, paper, the software, the volunteers, the electric, the buildings, the machines and the entire mess. We own it and we deserve to see every damn original ballot cast whenever we ask, it is the law in most states!
Show us the ballots!

Might someone be able to explain to me why requiring ID to vote is such a bad thing? I’ve never really understood why the Democrats are against ID. A real explanation please, because it genuinely doesn’t make sense - unless the reason is to better enable illegal votes. I am however sure that’s not what the Democrats way is the reason they are against ID, so what is it?
If the DemocRATs really believed that fraud has nothing to do with Biden’s ascension to the presidency, they would welcome measures to ensure vote integrity. If only to prove Biden’s legitimacy, they would clamor for election integrity safeguards. The fact that they oppose every such measure with lame excuses that a baby could see through says everything: yes, there was fraud, and they want to protect it.
So, there were investigations into the allegations of election fraud? Why haven't those investigations been made public? Just saying that the charges are debunked is not the same as actually debunking them.

Biden even bragged about the scope of the voter fraud machine they had in place! And his proverbial campaigning fr9m the basement was exactly the sort of effort one would expect from someone who knew he didn’t have to try.

The NYT is again pretending that there was no fraud in Georgia. The NYT is saying that Biden won Georgia without evidence.
Where is the evidence that shows that there were no "show stopper" election irregularities such as outright voter fraud, ballot mishandling, contestable process fouls, equal protection clause violations, voting machine irregularities, and significant statistical anomalies?
Where is the responsible journalism?
Where are the results of deep audits and forensic examination of the voting machines?
Election integrity concerns are a show stopper for the 2020 election. These concerns must be put away by presenting the evidence that all was well, or identifying and fixing irregularities now.
Maybe the NYT has not seen the Navarro reports. They are a model for responsible journalists and politicians to follow to counter the argument that there was fraud.
