Does anyone remember Adam Clayton Powell? He was a Representative from Harlem. He was so corrupt that even his fellow Democrats had to expel him.
That led to a special election, which Powell won. They wouldn’t seat him. He went to court. He won. They had to seat him.
If they try to expel Marjorie Taylor Greene, she should use Adam Clayton Powell as precedent.
Also Julian Bond got Supreme Court approval that he must be seated in the GA legislature after Peach State Democrats voted to expel him.
