Some methane gas and road apples but all in all very sustainable and very green. I am sue the air quality was great except for all of that nasty coal burning in the winter. But heat is a luxury now...

New York City is self sufficient in nothing! All the food all the water consumed in New York city comes from outside the city.
I say New York City should go 100% green and set an example for the rest of the world. Only battery operated transportation, and to be true greenies it should be mandated they could only re-charge the batteries from re-newable sources within the city limit.
All power for lights and heating must also come from power generated within the city as well.
I am sure New York City will become the Eden on the Hudson.
