He had no primary challenger in 2020 and won the general by 59 percent. Not easy to get rid of him. He won the general with 59% of the vote because its a very red congressional district. It had nothing to do wit him.
Republicans can put a ham sandwich there and he will still win.
The jester is finished. President Trump will campaign against him in 2022 and make sure he loses the primary.

I understand. But whose going to run in the primary? Everyone in the district has watched him for 10 years. It’s not today he’s started this crap. And yet NOBODY has challenged him. Who will now?

This is NOT a very red district; it used to be, but the largest population center (DeKalb) put Section 8 housing into place several years ago and the college voter base at NIU makes it purple at best.
So if anything Kitzinger is anticipating that eventually some trannie with purple hair or a bubble-headed bartender will win the election if he stays a Republican.
