I don’t know what video you watched but she was not the size of an adult. That’s a lie and anyone that can come out and empathetic with the cops in this situation is sick in my mind. That was heartbreaking and those cops are monsters.

The girl was the most intelligent one there.

sorry to disagree. in my day a child would not fight the police the way she did. also i was half the size of her at age 9. I would have easily thought she was 18.

Exactly this. She IS a child, and not even at the age of any sort of self-agency. Regardless of what she's believed or seen, the officers were dealing with a bundle of non-reason and unbridled emotions. It is cultural as much as it is age-related.

"I want my Dad," is a reasonable request from a minor. I applaud her for resisting getting into that car, without a responsible parent at her side to calm her fears.

She was not going to cooperate, she had lost it. It is clear she was having a mental health crisis and was a danger to herself and others. What are they suppose to do? What would you do?

I am starting to think that perhaps there is some merit to the idea of having social workers respond to these kind of incidents and not LEO. I know the LEOs would be all for it.
