I found FR is a great news source because people post articles from local sources that are much more reliable than national sources. I also find FReepers are often involved in the story and can provide even more reliable, first-hand, information.

I have never watched Fox or CNN.
I do not read NY Times or Washington Post except everyone once in a while.
You don’t need to and shouldn’t.
FR has always been a great news aggregator site.
