When Philadelphia began getting its first batches of COVID-19 vaccines, it looked to partner with someone who could get a mass vaccination site up and running quickly. City Hall officials might have looked across the skyline to the world-renowned health providers at the University of Pennsylvania, Temple University or Jefferson Health.
Instead, they chose a 22-year-old graduate student in psychology with a few faltering startups on his resume. And last week, amid concerns about his qualifications and Philly Fighting COVID’s for-profit status, the city shuttered his operation at the downtown convention center.

Too bad the MSM is obsessed hunting the white supremacist boogeyman
Much the same nonsense in New York City. Those vaccines will go to waste.

I’ll bet this guy knew nothing about that, or anything else that could have gone wrong. Yet he went ahead and gave the shots. That’s indefensible.
The headline is misleading.
The story reflects more than one special interest group vying for the business.
They picked a grad student just to have someone to scapegoat.
The student was completely disposable.
You broke the code. The anointed were exposed and they gave this kid the Trotsky treatment.
Hate to say it, but the business of friends and relatives getting preferences in vaccines over those supposedly with higher priority is probably more widespread than acknowledged - as scarce as the vaccine is, one of the few local sites available to us in south Jersey ran out almost right away, with rumors wild that some of the supply went to - yes, relatives and friends of the managers over the local elderly and impaired.......
