These look to be numismatic coins. Only suckers buy numismatics, but this probably means a run on Monday.
Please explain why numismatics is for suckers and how would one by stock on an exchange anticipating a run?
According to the article: "Available rounds if you can find them are now priced at double to triple the spot price."
"Rounds" are NOT "numismatic coins."
Regards,
A couple of days ago, APMEX had non-numismatic silver Eagles at around $7.00 over spot. Suddenly they have nothing but numismatics. Something is going on.
No, they are the straight silver eagles. What is left are the numeric coins. On the places I looked this morning there were no “random year” silver eagles, $100 bags of 90%, or any of the other more commonly traded bullion coins.
If you don’t own them today, don’t bother.
This should be short lived. (Famous last words.....)
“Junk” silver, worn and/or high mintage US silver coinage. They have some numismatic stuff but it’s mostly bullion. US coinage silver is popular for its potential in trade in chaotic circumstances.
