Dodger Stadium’s mass COVID-19 vaccination site was shut down Saturday afternoon as about 50 protesters gathered at the entrance...
The Los Angeles Fire Department closed the entrance to the stadium — one of the largest vaccination sites in the country — for about an hour starting just before 2 p.m. as a precaution, officials said.
While some carried signs decrying the COVID-19 vaccine and shouting for people not to get the shots, there were no incidents of violence.
A post on social media described the demonstration as the “Scamdemic Protest/March.” It advised participants to “please refrain from wearing Trump/MAGA attire as we want our statement to resonate with the sheeple. No flags but informational signs only.

Why do they care if others get the vaccine?
bump
Because both sides have an agenda. Unfortunately, while our side screams for the right to make a choice not he vaccine, they would seek to deny people who want it the opportunity to get it.
It makes us every bit as bad as the other side.
Here here!
The whole point of liberty is watching people make stupid decisions.
Otherwise you’re no better than a Karen.
Hey gas-you’re gas. Not Trump people. they don’t have the time to waste. Double agent types.
There are plenty of weird people on both sides.
Actually there are four sides:
1. People who dont want others to take it, to the point they are out with signs protesting a vaccine site.
2. People who truly want choice and would not penalize people for either choice, in any way.
3. People who SAY they are for choice to take or not, but then go on to demonize and ridicule those who would not make the choice they themselves think is correct, and would also not mind, or openly be for, any/all various societal penalizations and restrictions, and job loss to occur to people who dont chose the way they would.
4. Openly overt choice deniers who demand mandatory vaccinations and all the above societal penalties and restrictions they can think of.
Fair enough, I read it quickly and did not consider that possibilty
Thanks for pointing it out.
Suddenly protesting about a highly experimental vaccine for a very survivable virus (98.5%) is violent and scary.
But burning down and looting department stores is just peaceful protesting.
When did people get so stupid?!
Near as I can tell, nobody was being blocked from entering. The protest was informational only.
The Libertarian in us would not stop anyone from getting the shot. It’s a choice. I just think it’s misguided and I’d tell anyone close to me to not do it unless they’re age 70+.
Thats actually a pretty good summation. I think I agree with you (as shocking as that may be for both of us).
I do have a very sincere question, and would like to hear your answer and process it as I think divergent opinions are able to learn from one another
I work in an at will state. In regard to your number three, it is not acceptable for a private employer to require what he or she sees fit for his company. Is it not interfering with a private business to require employment for someone who does not meet there requirements of a company or owner of a company? Is not the owner’s will dispositive?
For the record, I am absolutely NOT requiring any of my employees to get the vaccine if they do not want to. I do, however, require them to sign a release that they have been offered the vaccine and declined it, and therefore take the risk of exposure while on the job on their own freely and without coercion.
I am sincerely interested in your perspective.
Thank you in advance.
I do want choice, and do not want to penalize people for whatever choice they might make—_but_ I am very angry at the .gov and mass media propaganda campaign and very angry at the Silicon Valley attempts to censor certain views on this topic.
_That_ is why it is reasonable for people to publicly protest the vaccinations—.gov and Big Tech are trying to silence them.
“Not Trump people.”
I can’t tell, just by looking, what they are thinking now, nor what or whom they supported last year...but of the 2 protestors pictured, I notice one is dressed all in black with a backpack. Now where have we seen that ‘uniform’ before?
I assume that you have been offered the vaccine. Did you decline?
My mom is 92 living in my home and I will not let her take the vaccine, to risky I am not taking it either!! The whole damn state is locked down masks are mandated I wash my hands sanitize my shopping cart NO NEED for a damn vaccine!!
The LA Times reporter is credited as being a “narrative writer”. Is that the new description for writers tasked with advancing given agendas? Anyhow, just thought it was a strange job title.
I have received both vaccines in the Pfizer series. I am about 7 weeks out of the first injection. I have not tested positive. even after the vaccine.
If an employee comes down with the virus there’s a 99% chance they’ll live. You may have to pay for their sick time and they may milk it for the maximum time off but i will always error on the side of freedom.
No one should be told “show me your papers”.
