While nations argue over how intelligent it is to legalize marijuana, a new study finds the drug may literally be impacting the intelligence of young users. Researchers from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) say frequent use of cannabis during adolescence can lead to having a lower IQ as an adult.

This has been known for almost a century. Why else would the stereotype of dopeheads being lazy and stupid exist?
They don’t call it dope for nothing. In fact you have to spend money for the privilege of being a doper.

Anyone who feels the need to smoke pot are low IQ to begin with............unless its medical.
And those with the inclination are the least able to afford any mental decline. It’s a viscous cycle.
Apparently Pot use is more prevalent than thought. Look at the IQs of our political class and 40 percent of the population.

The harmful effects on the brain from doing pot has been known for quite some time. It especially bad if people do it prior to the age of 25.
We knew it 50 years ago, but we don’t know it now.
