Doses Distributed: 830K (another weak day, only half the number used)
People Receiving 1st Dose: 1.16 million (a decent day, on goal)
People Receiving 2nd Dose: 518,000 (biggest day yet, ratio of 44% of first shots)
They are no longer reporting Long term care facilities on the same page. Looks like that population has basically received their first shots, and now it will just be mopping up with the second shots (about a million to go). Not so significant to track anymore, perhaps.
Second shots should approach a 1:1 ratio with first shots over the next couple of weeks, if they keep new first shots around a million per day.
I fear they may already be diverting some of the supply for other purposes (like International "aid" under the WHO COVAX Program). Supply (deliveries) had been growing strongly, before Inauguration Day.
Is someone getting a kickback? Hunter? Frank? Big Guy? All of the above?

The CDC, NIH, WHO have suppressed an effective early treatment of covid. You need to petition your governors to fix this. I’d been waiting for the V.A. to tell me when they were available, but my sister phoned me, and said they were being given to anyone over 70 in the community at large. I got the Pfizer kind in a big drive-through operation being run by Prisma Health.
They had different lanes for persons with or without an appointment. I didn’t have one, but was pleased with how well it went. You just had to show ID to prove you were over 70, and fill out some forms.
My folks, who are in their 90s, got theirs 2 weeks ago. 1st shot. So far, so good.
Impossible. Chomo Joe said there was never the infrastructure to distribute vaccines and they would have to start from scratch.

Only 2.5 per million for Moderna. About one in 400,000.
It is more than they would like to see for a vaccine to have full, permanent approval (1.3 per million) - but not very much more

Millions may have been vaccinated but so far there has been no word on whether or not it’s actually helping. OTOH, if you take it and it kills you you’re definitely dead.
