The GOP is prime for an enema of the biggest kind. I have unsubscribed from all correspondence from the GOP heavyweights and no $$$ will leave my hand to the party (some members excluded) until it is purged of the evil, self-serving members of congress.
The way I understand it, the Patriot Party (if it materializes) would have its own state primaries and caucuses, its own national convention, and choose its own Patriot Party nominee, just as the Republicans and the Democrats do.
So you wouldn’t have to choose between a Patriot candidate and a Republican candidate in the primaries - that choice wouldn’t come until the general.
How I’ll choose to vote in the general will depend on which of two unlikely scenarios takes place:
1. The MAGA movement manages to purge the RINOs out of the GOP - which would take a miracle.
2. The MAGA movement manages to win with a brand new third party - which would also take a miracle.
The only hope for either miracle is President Donald J. Trump, so obviously whichever route he chooses will be our best chance.
Seems like he has chosen door #1: take over the GOP.
I’m kind of taken aback now when people think they can vote their way out of this.
That’s it. I’m done. This country is so over. After the failure of the GOPee at every possible level, in every possible way, to stop the steal I vowed I am officially over the GOPee for the rest of my natural life. If Trump stays with the GOPee, then I’m done with Trump, too. It was a good run, what with 245 years for our Constitutional Republic, the last 4 of which were the Trump era, but now both the Republic and Trump are ancient history. Trump told us to vote for every sort of GOPee schmuck, traitor, quisling, crook, and thug for party unity and the MAGA agenda during his presidency, but all of that didn’t amount to squat during his term and when our national crisis was upon us. I’m not voting GOPee ever again because of that, so I won’t be voting for any of Trump’s people going forward. If he started a new political party to go scorched earth on our irredeemably corrupt government, he could have been the next George Washington, but now he’ll just be the next Jimmy Carter. That’s all she wrote.
