Relegalizing alcohol didn't make citizens alcoholics - why would relegalizing marijuana make citizens addicts?

Nicotine can be addictive
Marijuana can be addictive
Addiction is very much influenced by a person’s genes. You don’t know if your gene makeup will make you an addict until you try the substance and when you do you might be hooked.
