It seems to me that the other countries aren't keeping accurate statistics. If a burglar points a gun at you and causes you to have a heart attack, guess what? He will be convicted of murder. Covid is the same thing. It doesn't really kill people, it makes the body kill itself.

I think we won't know the true death toll until its over and we're looking at the excess deaths country by country but, all in all, the 425,000 number seems pretty realistic to me. It has followed a predictable slope.
