Mr. Robot was a bit un-nuanced.
Life is way more complicated....
but I give them credit for trying to explain the world of the future...
I see it as more of an allegory of the world of the present and recent past. You’re right about it not being nuanced, though. There are some troubling themes in it that I just skim over, that’s for sure.
