Whomever her primary opponent is, they need to be prepared.

For now, it's not about attacking Cheney on the issues, it's about protecting their viability as a candidate.

Cheney has two years to manufacture a scandal that takes her opponent out of the race. Her opponent has no resources to counter this, other than good behavior and public awareness.

Keep the heat on Cheney and point out establishment behaviors, but keep an eye open for dirty tricks, too.
