She was a disaster for our State. We suffered through an 8 year depression due to her crony leftism. USA does not deserve this brain dead political loser.

Bad judgment rewarded once again.

And with much more being drizzled away this time.

There is an answer for providing energy to the consuming public, both cheaply and in an environmentally friendly manner. Wind power and Solar power are both unreliable for base-line power supply, and expensive to set up on any large scale. Every kilowatt of energy that is supposed to come from these sources has to be backed up by a reliable source, like natural gas or hydroelectric power plants, while ignoring the very real advantages of converting to Thorium-fueled Molten Salt power generation plants. There is a dread superstition surrounding all of the promises of cheap electricity from atomic fission reactors, that was supposed to be so cheap back in the 1950’s that electricity would not even have to be metered, just a flat distribution fee for all users.

Well that never came true, but while it was in use, atomic plants could be run 24/7/365 at full capacity to provide a baseline power supply at all times.

Until Three Mile Island and Chernobyl. The movie “China Syndrome” was purely hypothetical, failure never happened that way, but as a propaganda piece against the use of atomic power, it was definitive.

All the old atomic plants all over the world are being retired, with no replacements in sight. But the Thorium-fueled Molten Salt atomic piles, which counter just about every objection ever raised against the Uranium-fueled Light Water plants, while in a stage of development that would enable their wide adoption, are subjected to the same critical scorn as the earlier atomic power plants.

Superstition is a powerful thing.
