He doesn’t care. The voters already rejected him as the new “golden boy” candidate of the GOP, so he is happy to take the consolation prize of being another reliable uniparty hack.

Rubio has been in DC long to arrange his parachute-probably lobbyist for Big Sugar, Big Pharma, or one of the many "legal" bribery schemes that pass off as retirement gigs for swamp creatures. There's always CNN too.
