Great move by Texas, but I would have to ask that Huddleston gal: What does deporting foreigners entering this country illegally have anything to do with “civil liberties”?
Civil liberty starts with “innocent until proven guilty”, with anyone being here getting their day in court ... and, with the courts being scheduled for years to come, they’re released on promise to show up in court on time. In the meantime, and presumably usually, just integrate into the black market and never return to court.
