If they change the rules and allow the vote to be secret I think they may convict. It amazes me that a man that is so “unpopular” , with the lowest approval rating ever, and supposedly the worst President ever that they are worried about him getting elected to office again.....
If they have votes in the open, they’ll convict, too. Don’t forget, Mitt Romney is a never Trumper. There are plenty more like him. McConnell comes to mind. Rob Portman, Graham, the list goes on and on. These elites are happy to have their own “country club” back together without interference from Trump. They don’t want him, or any non-member, causing trouble ever again.
