I believe the actual reason the Trump administration banned transgender people wasn’t because they didn’t like the politics. It was because most of them could not deploy. They required drugs or other therapies that would not be available on a deployment and, they were not capable of doing their jobs. Another reason may have been because the military would be required to pay for therapy. Not sure about that one, but I recall seeing a trans person discussing going into the military to get the surgery paid for.
Transgenders will bankrupt the VA. I hope all you veterans realize that.
