Six people, including a pregnant woman and her unborn child, died early Sunday in what Indianapolis authorities said was the largest mass casualty shooting in the city in more than a decade.

How’s that Black Lives Matter defund the police deal working out?
“Unborn baby of the pregnant woman killed is counted as the sixth death.
What a f’d up society that considers a murdered unborn a legitimate statistic while condoning without penalty the voluntary killing of an unborn through abortion.”
Totally agree with you!!!
The number of murders especially in black neighborhoods has increased dramatically. As mentioned the anti police rhetoric and actual defunding in these Democratic cities have taken their toll. What the public in the sanitized accounts in the MSM ( as in this SF Gate atricle which does not identify the race of the victims) are not being told is just how demoralized the police have become. Its a given that they have ceased the dangerous work of effective anti crime policing in minority areas. They feel it is simply too dangerous for them and unappreciated. Also these murders are not being agressively investigated. Most are “open” cases and the killers are not being arrested, tried or convicted. Police file perfunctuary reports and follow the old adage that their first responsibility is to return home to their families at the end of their shifts.
I’m betting this is black on black crime so black lives matters is not the slightest bit interested.
Almost all blacks who die by homicide are killed by other blacks this is a fact supported by the FBI data banks online.
Black lives matters does not give one single damn about all of those dead people.
That’s a law specific to Indiana - were still trying to repeal the abortion part but the courts keep shooting it down.
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Authorities on Sunday evening identified five people found shot to death in a home on the city’s east side.
Kezzie Childs, 42; Raymond Childs Jr., 42; Elijah Childs, 18; Rita Childs, 13; and Kiara Hawkins, 19, and her unborn son died in what IMPD Chief Randal Taylor called the largest mass casualty shooting in more than a decade in the city.
Photos of the victims.
So the "Indianapolis 500" is the goal that they're competing with New York, Chicago and Baltimore for this year?
He said the shooting came days after police department officials had announced their latest efforts to combat violent, drug-related crimes and 'violence driven by poverty or desperation.'
There is a hopeless endeavor.
Violence is not driven by poverty or desperation.
Violence is driven by a culture of godlessness and a lack of respect for human life.
“Without God all things are permitted.” Fyodor Dostoevsky
Stop the worthless criminal justice reform that puts criminals back on the streets and it will put a dent in crime like this.
But we all knew mass shootings would go up. The left wants to disarm us and the only way they can get public support is by sacrificing a few lives here and there.
Usually, that means murder-suicide.
Re: Sanitized news reports
Agree.
I live in a suburb of Seattle. My neighborhood is 90% white and Asian.
About four months ago we had triple homicide in one of the most expensive apartment buildings in downtown.
It was described as a family celebration that suddenly went out of control.
No names released. No photos.
A month later, the local Police Blotter still had no names published.
I checked the County Court Recorder - still could not find anything related to it.
Checked all the Seattle TV news sites and the Seattle Times website - after the initial crime report, zero information.
My instant suspicion - Black on Black violence, possibly involving a prominent Black person in some way.
Gee, maybe if the govt. would tax the productive members of society and give the money to these "poor people," there would be less violence.
We could call this money "welfare."
Then there'd be no "poverty or desperation-driven" violence, right?
Right?
Regards,
no matter how much money is dispersed in welfare payments there is never less poverty
there is never less need for welfare
few people ever escape welfare once they are on welfare
the children of welfare recipients follow their parents in to the profession
most children of welfare mothers do not have fathers actively parenting
being on welfare is no longer a social stigma.
Strange how, a hundred years ago the standard of living of the average person was lower than the current poor, and the level of violence was lower.
If you are in no danger of starvation, if you are in no danger of freezing to death on a winter night, then by objective standards you are not poor.
True.
But Liberal don’t believe in standards, objective or otherwise.
Coulter’s Law.
This tore that neighborhood apart, there is a survivor, I sense LE knows a lot more than they’re telling, and I don’t think the perp(s) need to worry about knees or tasers.
