I’ve seen the same. People driving alone in cars or walking alone in a park wearing masks. It’s just bizarre. I doubt they will ever return to normal.

I hope they never give up their irrational fear. It's reassuring to know who thinks straight and who acts out of ignorance. They didn't wake up ignorant one day; they've always been that way and now they can broadcast their ignorance to everyone around them.

Sad that so many do not understand that masks do not block a virus.

-2- CDC : a close contact occurs when a person is within six feet of an infectious individual for more than 15 consecutive minutes.

The core base for the Democrat Party has a memory span of about 3-6 weeks Days!!.

It’s easier to fool people than it is to convince them that they have been fooled.

Hopefully it will turn into anger and resentment.

Why would they want to do that? They have made a fearful and compliant population which will even accept a blatantly fraudulent election. Keep a population in fear and that population is much easier to rule.

Two reports about how fast the liberals and our people can forget the restrictions and get back to life.

One of my wife’s siblings lives a rural midwest area. For decades, on Sunday he and many neighbors walk to the local cafe to buy and read the Sunday paper (no longer delivered to homes), have breakfast with long time friends and read the newspaper and comment on it.

That has not been done for close to a year due to their blue governor’s restrictions.

Apparently, without a lot of fanfare, most of the restrictions have been removed. Many folks ate dinner at the local tavern last night (first time in about a year)

This morning the usual group of cronies were in the local cafe buying the Sunday newspaper, having coffee/breakfast an commenting about being free again.

Flash across country, and apparently, Fidel Che Gruesome, governor of Californicator You land, has revoked all restrictions in the Greater Sacramento area. You can get your hair cut or fixed, shop, eat inside a restaurant or go to a bar. Apparently, some churches were open.

An hour or more away, we are still restricted like living in S. Africa or Swaziland, Africa.

So memories are short when it comes to re opening.

Even if they opened everything up tomorrow, I’m not sure how many members of the public would show up.

Several NJ restaurateurs have told me that they can't even fill their restaurants at 25% capacity, because their customers are too frightened to dine inside.

I think you are on the right track.

There is some percentage of the population that is truly terrified and will stay that way regardless of what is open or not.

There is another percentage of the population that just follows whatever the popular approach is in their area—masks when other people wear them, no masks when others don’t wear them.

Then there are a few (like me—I think I have discussed this with you before) who use to pandemic to make excuses for avoiding trips I don’t want to take or going to gatherings I don’t want to go to. :-)

I have no clue what the percentages are in each group.

Yeah, I’m in NJ and that does not surprise me. I don’t know if people are bs-ing but I hear things about doing a 2 week quarantine after they go out of state, my one friend refused to give another friend a ride of no more than 2 miles. And guess what, people still keep getting covid! But they are not dying of covid.

One hour after Biden inaugurated, WHO changed covid testing criteria.. which will result in large reductions in the numbers of positive cases.. Medical doctors have warned against diagnosing someone as having the virus just because he tests positive once - if he does not present with symptoms..

For months now, sceptics have been ridiculed for questioning the accuracy of the PCR test.. now the WHO finally acknowledged there is a problem with the PCR test.. none of this was for your health. It was to get rid of Orange Man Bad..

Right now I am trying to process how we screwed up and what we can do now to fix it. Quite clearly we have failed. I am quite despairing at this point.

I have no idea how they roll the fear back.

This whole last year was a contrivance and demonstrated the evil of man and exposed the stupidity of so many others that they are now desperate to take a shot they can feel comfortable re-entering society.

Yes. One of the great realizations I and many others have had from the COVID farce, is just how incredibly ignorant, stupid, and manipulable an enormous portion of the people really are. The most amusing (or sad) thing is, the ones who are most ignorant and most stupid, are the most certain that they are absolute geniuses.

As evidence of the incredible level of stupidity? The sheets of plexiglas hanging in mid-air all over the place. There are plenty of others, but the floating plexiglas really kills me. How stupid do you have to be to think that is doing anything?

Had an employee at harbor freight come in to my 6 feet of space (I was stopped and he walked to about 3 feet of me) to tell me to wear a mask (I can’t. Only have 1 functional lung) and when told he said “well social distance it’s the law!” (No. Its a mandate from the governor) I mentioned I had not moved. He felt the need to invade my space to tell at me. With that I left the 500 bucks worth of stuff in the cart and left.
