Joe Biden has already made labor unions regret their support for him.
During his first day in office, Biden revoked the construction permit for the Keystone XL oil pipeline, destroying thousands of jobs.
TC Energy Corp., the Canadian company sharing ownership of the pipeline with the Alberta government, had estimated that 10,000 jobs would be created in 2021 thanks to the construction of the pipeline.
A total of 42,000 jobs were to be filled once the pipeline was completed.
The Laborer’s International Union Of North America issued this statement:
“The Biden decision to cancel the Keystone XL pipeline permit on day one of his presidency is both insulting and disappointing to the thousands of hard-working LIUNA members who will lose good-paying, middle-class family-supporting jobs,”
“By pandering to environmental extremists, a thousand union jobs will immediately vanish and 10,000 additional jobs will be foregone.”
This comes after LIUNA bragged about pushing Biden “over the top” in 2020:
The North American Building Trades Union said:
“North America’s Building Trades Unions are deeply disappointed in the decision to cancel the Keystone XL permit on the President’s first day in office. Environmental ideologues have prevailed, and over a thousand union men and women have been terminated from employment on the project.
Tens of thousands of workers are left to wonder what the future holds for them. In the midst of a pandemic that has wreaked havoc on the economic security of tens of millions more, we must all acknowledge the uncertainty and anxiety this government action has caused.”
The United Association Of Union Plumbers and Pipefitters released this statement:
“In revoking this permit, the Biden Administration has chosen to listen to the voices of fringe activists instead of union members and the American consumer on Day 1.”

Here’s a question: How many labor union bosses actually come up through the “ranks”. At one time did the “trade” or “labor” they claim to represent? My impression is now they are all left-wing lawyers.

Union leadership knew this was coming, but the pay from the democrats in their own pockets makes their pain less.
Union people know Trump is better for the economy, but Trump is such a meanie. And those mean tweets.
Biden got in the face of a union auto worker and told him “I don’t work for you”. Told the guy he was full of it. But Trump is mean.
Guys......wake up. This is not your daddy’s or your grand daddy’s Democrat party. This is a party beholden to bicoastal elites. This is a party that got FIVE TIMES more money from Wall Street than the Republican candidate got. This is a party beholden to Big Tech. This is a party that wants to flood America with as much cheap 3rd world labor as possible so as to crush your bargaining power. This is a party which will always choose Gaia Worship over blue collar construction jobs. This is a party that will always favor cheap Chinese imports over blue collar manufacturing jobs.
This is not your party anymore.
The good news is that the populist-nationalists DO actually have your interests at heart. They DO believe in secure borders. They believe in energy independence. They do believe in fair trade rather than allowing China and others to cheat at will. Your future lies with the Republicans. Come on over and help us flush a few worthless RINOs down the toilet in the next couple elections. Then you’ll finally have a party that actually stands up for America.

The leadership delivered the votes which were needed.
The leadership will be well rewarded.
