> Australia will be next domino to fall. <
I’m guessing it would take a minimum of a million Chinese troops to occupy Australia. It would be darn near impossible for China to move that many men that far.
Slow economic subjugation on the other hand...
Believe me, already plenty of Chinese in Australia, when I went to Sydney I thought I was in Beijing.
They already have 1 million boots on the ground via immigration. If push came to shove a lot would side with the chicoms out of pride in the motherland. Indonesia would pose a problem for chinese aerial. I would think rather than a full blown invasion the chinese would take some islands in the Torres Strait and probably Norfolk and pick off the Raaf from there.
China just needs to keep doing what they are doing.
Bribe government officials in the US and Australia to do their bidding.
Then they can expand their hegemony in the Pacific at will.
As long as the bought politicians stay bought they can take their time—probably get Taiwan and Australia to surrender without a shot fired. (They will of course use different words—like blankety blank mutual security agreement bla bla bla...Bidet and the mass media will eat it up...cooperation between our great peoples...bla bla bla..)
Modern war is not troops. Cyber and virus warfare.
