True, ensuring electoral integrity is a niddly boring task. It is not glamorous nor is it headline-grabbing, but following the niddly boring steps (secure paper ballots, proveable chain of custody, doubled checked hand counts, etc) is necessary if we are to have real free and fair elections. Good for Texas!

Remember Benito Mussolini was elected to power by popular support, same with Hitler. There is no popular support for Biden, paper ballots do not pay taxes. Crackdowns will only stimulate counter actions. This sort of thing—so wisely set up—will not work without a broad base of support that Biden’s crew is tossing away with each stroke of the pen. Its almost as if they want a Civil War to crush what ever resistance is still out there. Next move should be to slay Trump—get rid of him and blame it on some deluded follower. Huey Long comes to mind. Popular, opposed FDR and the Democrats, got shot.

I remember when the New Wave singer Joe Jackson was at the height of his popularity in the 80’s.... There was a photo of him standing on the street in new york, with a copy of the New York Post and the headline was “Andropov dead”... The photographer was obviously going for a “man on the street during important world event” effect.... But I remember thinking, “who cares about Andropov, he ain’t no Khrushchev, the USSR just aint what it used to be”

I’m beginning to think that the dems are pushing this green new deal and all the attacks on energy (keystone, phracking, talk of gas taxes) plus now talk of raising taxes all to crater the economy on purpose. Then they can rebuild it in their communist image. So they want that standing army in DC to o protect them from outraged people who are bankrupted by their plans (see 1930 and 1931 style marches on Washington)

The Huey Long killing was a set up. The doctor who allegedly killed him was not the killer. My dad knew him very well and never believed the official story. Even back then the powers that be would not allow a populist to get too much of a following. The evil never ends.

I’d say he’s more like Cherenkov, a senescent figurehead placeholder till the real string man can be appointed.

Actually Chernenko was Brezhnev designated successor. Right hand man to Brezhnev. He became the chairman because they (Brezhnev clique) wanted to extend the Brezhnev era without Brezhnev. Andropov kind of sneak in, trying some changes, Chernenko was put in charge as reaction to his actions. He looked healthy when he took over. They hoped for him to last a lot longer. I see Brezhnev and Cherneko being basically the same.
When he Chernenko died, the system finally started to crumble.
