-- Trump wants the trial since he can finally show the evidence of voter fraud. --

The senate sets the rules of evidence. Evidence of election fraud will not be allowed.

I understand the argument that it must be allowed because the entire basis for the rally, content of the rally, and justification to "make your voices heard" is the election being decided wrongly. But the Senate can and will change the issue to "did Trump incite or not," and can stipulate the fact of the election one way or the other without resolving the election issue.

The Senate has already found that the election was decided correctly with no constitutional deficiency. It will not allow its own findings to be challenged.

The Senate is one of those "it is impossible for us to do wrong" bodies. Just like every other institution in the federal government. They are all perfect. Just ask them.

Is that a prediction or a stone-cold fact, i.e., the rules of evidence have already been voted upon?

Great summary.

Roberts likes to do,his kabuki theater using that same logic , in essence it’s up,to your govt to decide what’s right.

Forget the constitution, that’s just musings of some long dead fools.....
