Many Hispanic immigrants like Maria feel a natural affinity for the Republican party — an allegiance that often bewilders Democrats.
Ever since Barack Obama won 71 percent of the Hispanic vote in 2012, Democrats have assumed this group was a monolithic voting bloc that would gravitate toward the party’s ideals, mainly because they are “a minority.”

Third and fourth generation Latinos just aren’t supporting the open-border situation. I think in some communities, it’s near 80-percent.
If you look at most Latinos, they have some connection to a local church, and have expectations of respect for elders. I’d also go and suggest that this is the one crowd who aren’t attracted to governmental welfare, and just want good honest capitalism to work as advertised.

The ideals of killing babies in the womb, lowering the wages of working Americans by allowing unchecked illegal immigration and encouraging the outsourcing of labor abroad, trying to abolish freedom of speech and association and the legal right of self defense, taxing middle income workers to death, and promoting sexual freakery of all types? Yeah, who wouldn’t want to sign on to THAT agenda. The Dems must be shaking their heads in disbelief.
The evil BLM is the best thing for Republicans as far as Hispanic votes are concerned.

So what? We are a balkanized nation and this will accelerate given our current policies and demographics.
The stories in this article reveal some important truths about our Hispanic people who have been here long enough to figure out what is happening to this country. Basically, most of these people cherish faith, family and the freedom to work. Peace in any nation is maintained as long as the decent are stronger than the indecent or, put another way, as long as the good are stronger than the bad. What has gone on here for the past four years and continues as we now are headed at breakneck speed into socialism, is not what our Southern neighbors moved here for and I am thankful for the folks featured in these articles. They are strong and determined and they give me hope. Not a lot of other places to find that anymore. I believe many of our immigrants, over all, are watching the distorted persecution of Donald Trump and his family. Whether Democrat, Independent or Republican, it cannot be missed, even if one only watches CNN and MSNBC for news. The hatred spewed is itself evidence against rationality. I pray for the haters all the time and that somewhere among them, brave souls will rise up to recognize that a nation which speaks with only one voice will soon go down, for, in such situations, only power and not truth or justice, will prevail. God help the people when that happens.

Legal Mr. & Mrs. Dominguez (likely Catholic) have no interest in having Christianity squelched, either. Or their kids losing jobs to illegals and and Chinese off-shoring. Or paying higher taxes. Or having their kids turned queer in schools. Or getting high inflation. Or seeing black & white couples all over TV. Or...
Trump should start a new party....his new voters will not vote GOP without him...maybe a tea party type movement and target both republicans and democrats...
Legal immigrants hate illegals that is why they voted for Trump...
Plus they know what could happen to this country....
Democrats destroyed the black family and education for black children. The strategic choice for the hispanic community is whether they will allow Democrats to do to hispanics what they did to blacks — and the white welfare class as well, for that matter. What is needed politically is more black and hispanic leaders who are willing to diagnose the cancer forthrightly and reject plantation politics.
