I’d almost forgotten about that one — Cankles was the odds-on favorite until the Committee (headed up by Drew Edmondson, IIRC?) upset her applecart. Serves her right.
I found a couple of articles stating the OK’s grid is in dire need of an upgrade (perfect excuse for OG&E to jack up the rates). But hopefully, close proximity to TX will come in handy in the event worse comes to worst, and our pals there will overlook football season’s Red River Rivalry and lend a hand. :-)

I lived in OK for 7 years and we loved OK and the Okies.
Outside of football, we are very similar people. OK has more Indians, but Texas has a lot too. None of that is important.
