I’m Catholic, and I can’t stand this SOB.
I hadn’t had much dealing with the Catholic church in years but my mom and sister are both Catholic and when my mom passed a couple years ago I interacted with some of the folks at her chosen church in Florida. WOW! They sure seemed to be uber politcally correct to the point of, uh, what is your purpose here? I could be incorrect in my assessment. Seemed less churchy and more preachy. Whatever that means.
P.S. For Easter of 1963 a couple friends and I went to St. Peters square to see Pope John XXIII. Our folks were stationed/lived in London and we had the chance to go so we did. None of the 3 of us were Catholic but to be in his presence was pretty awesome.
