I guess this was the wrong year to have a Jeep Grand Cherokee HEMI V8.
I’ve been fixing up an old Saturn for my grandson who’s going to start driving this year, but I may have to hang on to it for the gas mileage.

If you can afford one, you can afford the gas. The price of the car may come down too. I’m going to tell my car guy to watch for a used one.

We were saying the same thing back in 1977. If I bought a truck would there be fuel for it in two years? We were even figuring how to make them run on alternate fuels like moonshine or producer gas(wood smoke).
One of our mechanics converted his V-8 truck to use a two cylinder diesel tractor engine. Great mileage at a very low speed. Put-put-put.
