You post a lot of truth here my worry is that the Marxists in the Democratic Party will continue to increase their influence. They are true believers. They really believe in the Green New Deal and other eco fantasies. If the Squad takes over then a Dr. Chivago scenario becomes very, very real.

I don’t disagree with you, but that’s nothing new. It’s been that way since the 1790s.

Hell yes, this one is going to hurt. These geniuses have no clue as to the ripple effect this is going to cause. The layoffs in the oil industry will be significant, but all the support industries will feel the pinch as well.

We will soon look back on mere doubling of gas prices as the good old days.

One of the dirty little secrets of American unions is that the workers don’t matter to them. The leadership of these unions is more interested in representing the RETIREES — who often outnumber active workers by a wide margin.

I read somewhere recently that the United Steelworkers union has something like 1.1 million retirees and fewer than 100,000 active workers among its members. You can be sure they’d sell out the 100,000 workers in a heartbeat if the other 900,000 come out ahead.

Take pictures of your local gas peices now! To show your lib friends how it was under Trump. As prices will be $1 more per gallon 1 year from now. And tell them now, too. Let them stew as they rise for the foreseeable future.

I can easily afford the ethanol-free 90 octane fuel. I just paid $3.45/gal at a local station that carries the ethanol-free stuff, which is all I use in it.

You hit the nail on the head. The denizens of the big cities are hopeless. They would vote D no matter who the candidate was.

The Biden Administration may shut that down too.

Wonder what middle east country will be first to send him thank you gifts like a few 8 year old girls the play with.

"A federal leasing ban would cost some 18,000 jobs in Colorado, 33,000 in Wyoming and 62,000 in New Mexico by 2022,..."

Exactly the kind of success that communism requires...
Things are moving along nicely...
As long as the serfs get those 2K checks, they do not care one bit...

A Communist Purge Is Underway & Nothing Is Being Done About It!

None of this will end well. Asterisk plans on incrementally starving America of its hard won energy independence. This will lead to sharply increasing energy costs, all energy, including renewables will cost more and more and more. Not to mention either an increase of Green House Gas releases, or tremendous increase in unemployment and bankruptcy.

Some people I have spoken with think this will only hurt the rich oil companies. An adult who understands the economy will realize that this is going to undermine the entire economy. Look around, everything you see, including yourself, got to where it is by using fossil fuels. NOTHING works without energy. President Asterisk will find out the hard way that his gauzy dreams about alternative energy sources are just that, dreams.

Kill the economy and you will kill innovation. Without innovation, renewable energy will be too expensive to use for everyday life. It will put essential services offline or out of reach for most Americans. With half the country unemployed, who could possibly afford the super-costly and scarce trickle of solar and wind energy?

Between the blackouts that leave taxpayers shivering or sweltering in the dark as they starve, ever higher taxes and decline of living standards, life will not resemble the Trump era in many ways, all important ones.

President Asterisk will greatly burden, and without opposition, destroy the American economy. Energy drought and collapse is just the beginning of their idiocy.

I’m worried that they will cut off nat gas like California is doing. Either by edict, pricing, taxation, or availability. Heat pumps suck bigtime in cold climates.

Maybe it’s back to wood heating.
